Caroline, you've stumped me with that one. I also spoke with Ed Cholakian of All Cadillacs in Las Vegas (http://www.allcads.com/). Ed is one of the foremost authorities on Caddies. I'm apparently in good company because he was stumped, too. But with or without a sequence number, you've got a fine automobile! :)

Stephen, I own a 2011 Cadillac CTS coupe. Love it. I wanted to find the production number of this car and Caddy tells me the following: . " There was a total of 15,715 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe vehicles manufactured with no production sequence assigned to each vehicle". Do you have any idea why they would not assign a sequence number. I also know that it was built on January 3, 2011, has a engine built in Mexico and a trans from France.
Enjoy all your info you give on various cars during the auctions, I've learn a lot!!!!! Just wish that Caddy had a historical society like Pontiac.
    Thanks Caroline Hudnall, Helena Montana
